SAINTS have always been an undermined lot. This is KALIUGA and that’s normal.
There are saints who are really enlightened and there are people who fake it.
We have seen and known about many godmen who have been on national news for the controversies they created.
There’s were some real politically motivated controversies in which some real SAINTS got embroiled (Swamy wanted Jayalalithaa to apologise to Kanchi Sankaracharya) and there were real controversies where the fakes got caught.
There’s also LEFT MEDIA and MOVIES that try really hard to show HINDU SAINTS in poor light (greedy, lust-full, revengeful etc etc)
