MARRIAGE COMPATIBILITY – The TRIED & TESTED method from Vedic Astrology – ASHTAKOOTA or NAKSHATRA KOOTA analysis!

Do you know that billionaires go into depression in spite of being one of the most successful individuals materially in the world. There are only 2604 billionaires in the world as of May 2019 – The US is home to more billionaires than China, Germany and Russia combined

This is another story that made headlines a few years ago – a leading lady from BOLLYWOOD who was at the peak of her career announced that she was in depression – Deepika Padukone on suffering from depression: It came on very unexpectedly
Do you see anything in common. These people are endowed with all known material luxuries of the world, but still they were depressed. Have you ever thought why?
This was their MIND PLAYING TRICKS with them.
Our ancestors knew this out of seeing these patterns repeating in the society time and again that THE HUMAN MIND was a very tricky thing to manage.
So the MIND WAS THE MOST IMPORTANT thing to tackle when it came to any relationship especially a life long one like marriage.
In ASTROLOGY, MOON is the planet that represents the mind.
So they devised a METHODOLOGY to quickly be able to see if there would be a SYNC between the minds of two individuals / hopeful spouses.
This is the south Indian way of looking at it.
  • Dina – health of the spouses – 3
  • Gana – basic nature & thought process – Dev, Manushya, Rakshas 4
  • Yoni – the is sexual compatibility yes if this was high than pleasure through sex is assured in marriage – 4
  • Rashi – mental support from each other & mental syync – 7
  • Rasyadhipati – children – 5
  • Rajju – longevity of the spouse 5
  • Vedha – impediments / hurdles – 2
  • Vashya – compatable moon signs – 2
  • Mahendra – number of children – 2
  • StreeDeergha – prosperity 2
So, if you look closely you will find that every aspect of married life has been touched upon.
My personal experience is that that THIS WORKS and is quite accurate in its outcomes.
Please note I know of cases where people got married when their nakshatra koota was 22/36 – the marriage has lasted for almost 2 decades and it would continue to last for two more decades, but there will be issues in the areas of marriage where the KOOTA is less.
Also, I have seen a marriage where nakshatra koota was 36/36, but the marriage didn’t survive for 3 months – it was because the other aspects of the horoscopes were not matched and the weaknesses of individual horoscopes were ignored while matching.
So, what I am saying is NAKSHATRA KOOTA is a very good indicator of areas that will need attention in a marriage. But by no means its the ONLY thing that needs to be checked.
Individual horoscopes will have to be checked for it’s strengths and weaknesses for ascertaining whether it will be a successful marriage or not.
