You don’T need matching horoscopes to get married.
But if your horoscopes match, you have a better chance of having a more successful marriage.
But this point system is just one aspect of matching. But it’s more like the starting point. Generally anything less than 22/36 is considered a NO GO. And anything above 25/36 is considered good.
The 2nd is the strengths of Individual horoscopes also matter.
I have seen couples who had 36/36 who filed for divorce 3 months into their marriage because the guy was impotent. They were a good couple but marriage did’nt have a purpose. The girl had a broken marriage and the boy too had one in spite of being unfit for marriage.
Astrologer’s also check the relationship btw planets in the 2 horoscopes. If you superimpose the 2 horoscopes in 1 chart and pick a planet say Mars and say it’s in Leo. If the Mars of the other horoscope is in cancer (12/2) or Virgo (2/12) or Capricorn 6/8) or pisces(8/6). If planets are in 6:8 and 2:12 positions then the aspects controlled by theae planets will cause friction in the relationship. It is good to avoid such horoscopes altogether. But if at all you want to go ahead you can manage with max 2 -3 warring planets (out of 9). If there are more than 3 planets in such positions means you are asking for trouble.
Astrologer’s also do a DASH SANDHI (Dasa Analysis). They check for starting and ending dates of Vimshottari Dasha’s of the 2 individuals. It is required that the start and end dates of one’s dasha are atleast 6-12 months apart from the others.
